The History Of The Foam
Tripolymer formulas were originally developed in 1966 by the CP Chemical Company and then refined in partnership with the United States Department of Energy under the Federal non-nuclear energy development act of 1974 (Public Law # 93-577). Since then, the trade secret formula hasn’t changed.
When the former owner of CP Chemical was ready to retire, FDI purchased their intellectual property and trade secrets, and we still use that very same original, trade secret formula. Tripolymer Foam Insulation is an excellent addition to the other products made and sold by FDI.
